Airbus to fund search for Air France A330 black box

Airbus said it's willing to spend up to 20 million euros ($40.6 million) to help in the search for the flight recorders of the Air France A330. Air France Flight 447 crashed in a storm on its way from Rio de Janeiro to Paris on June 1 killing 228 people.

I logged today on ACARS 82-8000 (Air Force One) Boeing 747-2G4B VC-25A, c/n 2382, l/n 679 on flight MC0001.

President Obama is currently in Russia so I guess it's related to that. :-)

It's not everyday you log such a special aircraft on ACARS... atleast not here in Sweden!
