Yemenia Airways - Airbus A310-324 7O-ADJ crashed

Yemenia (Yemen Airways), Airbus A310-324, 7O-ADJ (MSN 535) crashed early this morning (01.50 local time) enroute from San'a, Yemen (SAH/ODSN) to Moroni, Comoros (HAH/FMCH) as flight IY626.

The aircraft was built in 1990 and was aquired by Yemenia in October 1999. According to Airbus the aircraft had accumulated approximately 51,900 flight hours in some 17,300 flights. It was powered by Pratt and Whitney engines PW4152.

The flight had 153 occupants, consisting of 11 crew and 142 passengers.

Latest reports indicates a toddler has survived.
